I also write Traditional Regency Romances and recently published a new title, which is a variation on Shakespeare. \n\nWhy do I love the Regency Era? Because it was a time of change in between the bawdy Georgian Era and the uptight (some would say hypocritical) Victorian era. Politics and society were changing at a rapid pace with industrialization and Europe and America at war. And in the midst of this, there was a lovely time period of 9 years with elegant clothes and furniture and my favorite romance novel - Pride and Prejudice. It's my favorite novel because both Darcy and Elizabeth are intelligent and flawed and when they fall in love, they both change for the better.\n\nThat's what I want to write as well - stories that are realistic and romantic and set in that beautiful world.\n\nYou can learn more about my stories at my website http://janegrix.com \n
